Jordan and Carrera mountain elopement in the Dolomites
Jordan and Carrera travelled all the way from Canada to the Dolomites to celebrate their love in a way that felt completely true to them.
Their wedding day was full of the kind of moments that make an elopement so special. A day filled with love, adventure, laughter and simply enjoying being together.
We started by watching the sunrise among the mountain peaks, taking in the beauty of the place where they had chosen for their elopement. Back at the hotel, the morning became slow and intimate. They wrote their vows together, danced around the room, laughed, got emotional and helped each other get dressed. There was no rush — just the two of them soaking in the feeling that they were finally getting married.
The day continued just as naturally. We wandered through the mountains, stopped for gelato, shared cake, took in the views and made space for all the little moments in between.
During the ceremony, they read the vows they had written earlier that morning. And they even had the cutest unexpected wedding witnesses: the cows grazing around them
Their elopement wasn't about wedding traditions or other peoples expectations. It was about their love — the way they looked at each other, the laughter between the emotional moments, the little touches, the dancing, and how completely present they were with each other.
And I think that's what I love most about elopements. It's about creating a day that is truly about you and your love. An adventure you can experience together and remember forever. A day where you can slow down, be completely yourselves, and actually feel everything.
