Sophia & Rhett’s rainy Iceland Couple Session
There’s something about Iceland that makes you stop caring about perfect weather.
Sophia and Rhett traveled all the way from the States to Iceland, where they got engaged and began this new chapter of their lives together. While they were there, we spent a evening exploring some of Iceland’s incredible landscapes and documenting this season of their relationship.
And Iceland gave us a little bit of everything — dramatic waterfalls, endless green fields, moody skies, and plenty of rain.
The rain followed us throughout the session, but honestly, it only made everything feel more Icelandic. Instead of worrying about staying dry, Sophia and Rhett embraced it. They laughed, ran through the grass, held each other close, and let themselves get completely soaked.
That’s what I love most about photographing couples. It’s not about creating perfectly posed photographs — it’s about giving you the space to experience something together and capturing all the little moments in between.
For Sophia and Rhett, this was more than just a couple session in Iceland. It was a way to celebrate their engagement, explore somewhere completely new, and create memories from the very beginning of this next chapter.
