When Tony and Noushin traveled to Iceland in July, they dreamed of exploring waterfalls, black sand beaches, endless green mountains, and the famous purple lupin fields that bloom across the south of the island every summer. What Noushin didn't know was that this trip would become one of the most unforgettable days of her life.

As a cinematic couple photographer traveling across Europe, I love documenting stories exactly like this—real emotions, breathtaking landscapes, and moments that can never be recreated.

a secret plan

Before their trip, Tony reached out to me with a plan.

He wanted to surprise Noushin with a proposal surrounded by wildflowers in one of Iceland's breathtaking landscapes. Together, we carefully planned every detail while keeping the surprise completely hidden. To Noushin, it was simply another adventure and a chance to create beautiful memories from their trip.

She had no idea that by the end of the evening she would be wearing an engagement ring.

July is one of my favorite times to photograph couples in Iceland. Endless fields of blooming lupins and wildflowers transform the landscape into something almost magical, creating a stunning contrast against the dramatic mountains, volcanic terrain, and ever-changing skies.
